Talk to your agent from Feishu (飞书), or Lark, through a custom app bot. The gateway opens a long-connection WebSocket to Feishu, so there is no callback URL or public hostname.
What has been run on which harness is on the verification log; a feature without a dated row there is unverified.
What works from Feishu today
- Chat in a direct message, and in groups you allow explicitly, where Feishu delivers only messages that mention the bot. A group has its own conversation, so your DM history never becomes context for a reply the room reads.
- One reply per turn: the answer is sent when the turn completes.
- Commands:
/new(or/reset) and/compact. Choices arrive as a numbered list you answer by typing.
Set it up
- Install the Feishu extra into the gateway’s environment. From a source checkout:
.venv/bin/pip install -e '.[feishu]' - Create a custom app at open.feishu.cn (or open.larksuite.com for Lark), note its App ID and App Secret, and add the Bot feature.
- Grant
im:messageandim:message:send_as_bot, choose Long connection under Events & Callbacks, subscribe toim.message.receive_v1, and publish the app. - Save the credentials in the data home’s
.envasFEISHU_APP_IDandFEISHU_APP_SECRET. - Allow yourself by your
open_id(it starts withou_) inconfig.json:"feishu": { "enabled": true, "allowed_open_ids": ["ou_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"] } - Restart the gateway and DM the bot:

Who can reach it
Deny by default: an empty allowed_open_ids authorises nobody. A group needs two switches, allow_group and its chat ID on allowed_group_ids. A message whose chat type is missing or unrecognised is denied, and every denial is written to the audit log.
Limits, stated plainly
- Owner-only. One person runs this gateway, as themselves, with their files and credentials. There is no shared or team mode.
- One harness for chat. The docked harness answers every channel; switching is one setting. A spawned subagent can be routed to another installed harness; that is registered, not verified.
- Text only, no streaming, replies only. Images and files are ignored inbound, and the bot cannot start a conversation.
- No dashboard panel yet. Configure it in
config.json. - Creating jobs from chat (and subagents, and questions the agent asks you mid-turn) relies on the agent’s own tools, which reach kiro-cli only today. On other harnesses, schedule from the dashboard or the CLI; see the schedule page.
